Iβm a New York City gardener, storyteller, and firm believer that even the smallest outdoor space can become something beautiful.
This is where it all began.Β Ten years ago I got my first outdoor space in New York City and started with a single Meyer Lemon Tree, a gift from my sister. What followed was equal parts experiment, obsession, and hijnx.
Today my rooftop is home to peaches, cherries, apples, blackberries, tomatoes, lavender, roses, echinacea, morning glory vines and more pollinators than I ever expected to find above a Manhattan skyline. It's my sanctuary. My meditation. My favorite place in the city. And it all started with one little lemon tree.
