Hey there, I'm Julie.

I’m a New York City gardener, storyteller, and firm believer that even the smallest outdoor space can become something beautiful.

What started as a love for plants slowly turned into rooftop gardens, overflowing tomato vines, pollinator-filled corners, and helping others create outdoor spaces that feel alive, personal, and deeply restorative — whether that’s a tiny balcony in Manhattan or a backyard garden somewhere quieter.

Most days you’ll find me covered in soil, harvesting herbs for dinner, rearranging pots for the hundredth time, or talking to my blue heeler, Deli, like she’s my business partner (because honestly… she kind of is).

I’m especially passionate about:

  • urban gardening
  • pollinator-friendly planting
  • edible gardens
  • seasonal living
  • and making gardening feel approachable, joyful, and a little magical.

Through this space, I share garden inspiration, practical advice, favorite plants, behind-the-scenes moments, and the everyday beauty that comes from growing things slowly and intentionally.

I truly believe gardens change people.

And I’m so happy you’re here.

xo Julie

Ready for a Virtual Garden Tour? 🌿

Ten years ago I started with a single Meyer Lemon Tree on a small NYC rooftop and a whole lot of curiosity. Today that same space is bursting with peaches, cherries, tomatoes, lavender, echinacea, roses, and more pollinators than I ever dreamed possible above a Manhattan skyline.

Come take a look at what's growing, shop my hand-picked plant favorites, and maybe find a little inspiration for your own space, whatever size it is.
